My computer at home doesn't support MindSay for some reason. So I can't write at home.  Since I am on summer holiday, there won't be many updates during the summer.

Speaking of the summer, where is it? It is June and June is a summer month, but it's cold and rainy. Today the sun is shining but it's still pretty cold. I am really waiting for warmer temperatures to come.    

I am here at the university now, and I am going to write 7 job applications. Why can't I get a job? I really need one. Hopefully some of the shops I'll write to will hire me. It's frustraiting.  I can't get a job because I don't have any previous experience, but some job has to be my first job, right?

Yesterday I watched "Runaway Jury" on TV. It's a movie based on John Grisham's novel with the same name. It's not really the same as the book. In the book a man dies from too much smoking and the widow sues the tobacco industry. In the movie a man shoots several people at an office and then kills himself. The widow sues the gun industry. I suppose there is a bit more action with a gun shooting scene in the beginning of the movie than it is with a man smoking. It was a pretty good movie. I think I have seen it before on DVD, but I didn't really remember it.

Previous on the day (yesterday) I went to see the military parade that they had on the motorway. A couple of thousand people were watching it with me. In the parade there was about 1500 soldiers, almost 100 vehicles, 8 military planes, 4 helicopters and a group of men playing instruments came last in the parade. It was nice to watch. You don't see military stuff any more, since the military education here stopped some years ago.

I will be very nervous tomorrow. I have to go to the dentist and that is the second worst place in this town. The worst place is the hospital. I have to go to the dentist on June 12th as well, so it's not funny.

I really need to start writing the job applications now. Bye!

It's been a pretty long time since I last wrote here. I've written my gradu now and I kind of have summer holiday. My computer at home doesn't like MindSay, so I can't write on it at home. But I am here at school now and I have just printed the gradu out. I don't think the printer liked it when I printed 77 pages, but it's done now. Tomorrow some one will read through it and mark the grammatical errors. I bet ther's lots of them.

I have been quite busy the last days, watching the icehockey world championships and The Eurovision Song Contest. Finland won!!!!!  Yay for Lordi!!! The ice hockey bronze was pretty good too.  But Sweden won the ice hockey gold.

I have also been on Jonas' 8th birthday party on Sunday and yesterday (Monday) I went to my sister's house again with mum to look after the kids. I played Monopoly with Jonas and lost.  Well, it's just a game, but I want to win over him next time.

On Thursday it's time for The Da Vinci Code. Hope it's good. The critics don't like it, but they can be wrong.

On Friday or Saturday I will go to the spring fair on the market square. Yay! I hope it is sunny and not rainy as it is today.

The sun keeps shining.  I like that of course, because it is warm, although it is a bit colder than yesterday. According to the weather men it will be a bit colder now after a few days. But I don't like the sun in the morning. I woke up this morning at 7 am. The sun was already shining then, so it was very ligth in my room and warm as well. I couldn't sleep in that warm and light room.

I will write a few letters today, I think. I will also go to the town, and have the photos from the camera delivered. I am really looking forward to looking at the pictures. Mum took several photos in Stockholm of the famous buildings, like the castle. And I am sure there are pictures of Niki and Dexi as well as the kids Jonas, Rasmus and Wilma.

I do have pain in my knees and ankles today. It's frustrating. I need to move my legs and not sit in front of this computer. That might help.

Yesterday I took a long bike ride in the evening. I went along the water and I also looked at the horse arena where the stadium burnt a few days ago. It really looks bad. I wonder how long the bike ride was. But it felt good.  The pain in my knees and ankles have nothing to do with the bike ride.

I'd better go and see if they have anything good to eat.

Just a short update this time. Nothing much has happened lately. It was of course May 1st on Monday, so I went to the market square. It was crowded with people and difficult to see the things. But I went back there at about 4 pm. Then it was still a lot of people, but less than when I was there at first. So I could more easily walk around and look at the things they sold.

I've got a few letters recently and I've also written some letters. I might write a few more letters today if I feel like doing it.

I don't have anything to cross stitch at the moment. Well, I could stitch Popcorn's duck friend Soufflé as I have all the threads, but I don't think I have a piece of fabric that is big enough. I really should go and get some more fabrics. I should also go to the hobby shop and buy some paint so I can paint my boxes that I got. But I don't really know what color I want on them. Yeah, I think I have to get those things today, otherwise I don't have anything to do, except for reading. And you don't want to read all the day.

I am kind of bored at the moment. I really should write the last pages of my gradu. I mean, it is about 10 pages left. And I will write some pages today when I've eaten a bit. But I don't think I will finish it today. I will just go and eat now and then I will write until 2 pm and see how much is left. Then I'll go to the shop and get the paint and the fabric.

Oh, it's sunny and pretty warm today. Most of the ice on the sea is gone now and there are even some small yellow flowers here and there. Yes, spring is here!!!

Just the usual subjects... On Saturday at 14.45 the bus left for Kokkola. We arrived sometime after 16. About 200 folkdancers were there. A long dinner followed. It was long, because they had some speech before the dessert. The food was okay. Almost 8.30 in the evening we had the dancing. The 7 districts performed a dance or two. After that the audience joined in (those who could and wanted) and they danced it again. Then the next district showed their dance and so on. At 10 pm we ate birthday cake (not so tasty) and coffee (not me of course). Our district showed our dance at 10.45 pm. Usually I am asleep that time, so I was tired. The bus came to pick us up at 00.45 am and I could hardly keep my eyes open until then. I was just so tired and I slept in the bus.  The bus came back to Vasa a little after 2 am and I had to go home with the bike. I was finally home at 2.30 am and went straight to bed.

On Sunday was the San Marino GP in Formula 1, but I only watched half of the race. At that point it was so boring... It looked like Alonso would win again and Kimi Räikkönen's car was like a snail. So I took my bike and went to my sister's house where mum was already. She walked there before noon. In the end, Schumacher won before Alonso and Montoya. Kimi finished 5th with his snail car. Okay, but Alonso got more points than Kimi and that's not good. Nico finished 11th or 12th. It was not too good, but at least he finished the race. Hopefully it will be a better and more interesting race next weekend.

The spring was in the air this weekend.  But today it's cloudy and not so warm. I miss the sun. There is still snow on the ground at some places, but a lot is gone already.

I think I should write a few letters today. The pile of letters are growing... But I also want to cross stitch Biscuit. The dog is ready and now I am stithcing the cirkle of small green leaves and pink flowers that is around him. Then I have lots of back stitching, but that's not so difficult.

I must go to the library today and return a couple of books. I also thought I would pay a couple of bills. It's easier to do it on the mashines in town than on my computer. ¨
